Päivi Häkkinen 

Dr. Päivi Häkkinen is a professor of educational technology and a vice director at FIER, JYU. With her research group she has studied technology-enhanced learning and established a research line on processes, outcomes, and contexts of computer-supported collaborative learning. She focuses on the progression of computer-supported collaborative problem solving skills, possibilities of learning analytics in supporting student-centered learning, and the added value of virtual and augmented reality environments in STEAM. She has experience in leading research projects. She has published in international journals and supervised doctoral / post-doctoral students.
